Marc Jacobs spring/summer 2015.

New York is in full swing. Coach ss/15 looks great, I am going to be copying this style asap!
Its a pretty muted pastel pallet isn’t it. Have a look at our high street for items with the same vibe.
Then sling a yellow toned shoulder bag on, like this Tory Burch bag available at theoutnet.com, £206.25.
Just when I was thinking it wasn’t a trend for me, I saw these images that changed my mind.
Look great don’t they? First is Topshop at £42 and they are perfect with the matching crop top. The next is Whistles £250. Tibi is the last and matchesfashion have them at £498.
I have seen a few people in the pre-fall trousers from French Connection and they are a good price at £85. I like the simplicity of the Marks and Spencer navy ones, £79. Talking of simple, this white Zara pair are easy to wear at any age, £59.99.
I will be heading out this week to try them for myself.
When shopping the sales it is always a good idea to think ahead to what the new season coming up is offering. Rather than picking up something that was huge trend in the season we are leaving, look for the pieces that evolve into the next season.
Alberta Ferretti is a good place to start. Pre collection.
The weather is rotten out there so why not nurse your hangover with a bit of on-line sale shopping.
The new skirt shape to wear this season is full, circle shaped. It doesn’t matter if it is short midi or long. Here is some inspiration…..

This skirt also comes in a cobalt blue.
This Chalayan skirt is denim and is a great update to your autumn wardrobe.
This leather skirt is perfect for day or evening and a beautiful blue colour.

Houndstooth Trousers £50, Whistles.
Theyskens’ Theory jacket £275 at Matches.
Dress from Weekend by MaxMara £107.
Dress A.P.C, around £71.
A new way to keep cool in this heat, ventilated clothing!
Great top, get it from Urban Outfitters.
This dress has laser cut flowers over it, very pretty.
My love of the colour yellow that occurred around February has been overtaken by a love of green. It seems to be a natural progression. I am not sure when exactly it happened but it may be due, in part, to the lovely images from Carolina Herrera SS12 Ready-to-Wear.
My search for the perfect green dress for a ball I am going to this summer is underway. Here are a few hopefuls. What do you think?
I love the Peter Pilotto dress but I suspect that may be too much a splurge for me. The Marks and Spencer dress is definitely not fit for a ball, but I probably will get it for my summer holiday. The Issa dress is great, but 500 notes? hmm. In this economic climate I have to be sure.
Much better! Ok you have to use your imagination a little as it is a very dull photo.
I love this, it has that eye pop of green and I think this is probably the one I will go for. Those fab Charlotte Olympia shoes I blogged about the other day are ideal.
Charlotte Olympia Dellal, I am loving your work. I have to wait for this years bonus to clear though before I can buy one of your creations! Here are my favourites right now!
All of my choices hit the £565-£625 price range, and I have chosen all the shoes with green in them as it seems my colour of the moment.
Here are the Whistles clothes I would like to be wearing any of the above with…..
