Check out the fabulous skater skirts and dresses out there. So flattering, they cinch in a waist, skim over your hips, and make your legs look thinner. What’s not to love? It seems the shape is going to be around into next season too, so don’t be afraid to buy!
You could layer up those dresses when the temperature drops.
This pastel blue would look great with a yellow blouse, honest!
This is my favourite, very cute. It wouldn’t work for Autumn but wear it to death right now and bring it out again next Spring.
Scratch that, this one is my favourite…..
Oh I don’t know, they are all great!
The Pre-Fall collections are out, I can’t believe it’s that time already. I must admit the weather lends itself perfectly for it!
My inspiration today is the Dior Pre- Ready-to-Wear. I love it, the monochrome dressing has that cool mod vibe and the dusty colours seem a perfect evolution from the pastels of Spring.
Here are few High Street alternatives for us mere mortals!
And then there were the brights, the bold orange and the ‘Cadbury purple’!
Remove these jeans and add a midi skirt.
Wear a sweater with a skater skirt or dress.
What do you think?
Today’s inspiration? Yesterday’s birthday girls.
Resort collection from The Row.
They do know a thing or two about style those Olsen girls.
As The Row is a little pricey for me I will be copy-catting the over-all look.
Here we go….
If you can’t get to an Agnes B store don’t be put off shopping online by the prices in Euro’s, they do ship to the UK.
My usual Monday morning routine is to head over to the gym first thing before work. I spent the weekend lazing around in my Mum’s garden and you would think my body would be so rested that my workout would be easy. Not so. Despite the air-con and the fan directed straight at me whilst running on the treadmill, it still felt like really hard work. So to stop myself from thinking about the run I tuned into one of the MTV screens. It was the ‘Class of…’ program and today it was 1985. I was firstly cringing at Elaine Paige and Barbara Dixon’s hair, and then transfixed by the youthful and beautiful Madonna dancing all over the screen (already I had forgotten that I was running).
That is when I spotted the similarity between her look back then and the current fashion season. So this week my muse is the 1980’s Madonna.
It is a very grainy image but she is actually wearing neon green socks under yellow high heeled sandals!
A huge saving on this dress, 80% off in fact!
If only I looked as fresh faced as I did back then!
Then try these.
when I happened upon this beautiful dress.
I have been invited to a 40th in February and it has a red theme, I never wear red. So I thought I would see if I could find something affordable from the high street as I may never wear the item again. Now obviously it isn’t red. I could add red nails and a red skinny belt, but I really don’t want to. I want to echo Mulberry’s SS12 campaign and wear it with a bright yellow or pink. I have a fab pair of Cappucino coloured Repetto heels that will work with my Christmas treat of a Mitzy Hobo handbag from Mulberry.
Oh well, keep looking..
