I like a new motif, and this much misunderstood creature is the latest muse for the fashion retailers.
I love these two from Aubin & Wills, the Portland jumper is £125 and the Bolingbroke tee is £35. Wear either tucked into your pencil skirt or with a pair of black skinnies and high heeled ankle boots.
This sheer blouse is really pretty and you could wear it from the office to bar. Yumi fox print blouse at Oliver Bonas £32.
Ok, a bit too much for me, but on a cold autumn morning you could pull on this fox beanie, £17 from Accessorize.
Here is my favourite……
Alex Monroe‘s fox bracelet, the fox is gold plated and the chain is silver. £135.
It seems right now that there are lots of fab jewellery looks around. Delicate pendants look really cool with low neck lines, long charm necklaces are great over a swinging vest. Big chunky collars and tribal style necklaces can update simple tees and jeans.
This afternoon I will be getting my old man to venture into the loft for me (eek spiders!) and get down my summer clothes from last year. Going through them is a fun thing to do, seeing what will work for this season, and I think just getting a couple of new pieces of jewellery may be all I need to update last years floaty top/denim shorts combo and maxi dresses.
This will look great dangling almost at my waist with a boxy t-shirt and shorts. It could toughen up a tea-dress too.
The two necklaces above are great for me as I have a small bust they add some interest.
I really like the leaf and feather charms that have been everywhere this season. Here are my current faves..
After all that talk my husband has disappeared to the pub with a neighbour!! Must be brave……
Little bits of loveliness for Valentine’s day that aren’t tacky or all about ‘sexy underwear’ (which, in my opinion, is anything but).
Is it just me or does this conjure up images of Kate Winslet in Titanic?
The necklace and bracelet both available from Amazon, the bracelet comes in different colours but I like the mixture of silver and gold.
I would of course have any of these from Alice Cicolini but my bank account won’t stretch that far. Prices start from around £1,300.
Oliver Bonas always have some cute jewellery that is easily affordable.
Don’t wait for someone else to get them as a gift, be nice to yourself and have a happy Valentine’s Day
Don’t play matchy-matchy this spring, make like a mixologist mix it up and clash your prints.
Wear this from River Island….
Add this from Miss Selfridge…
Or if you happen to be over 35, wear this from Oasis….
Add this from Oliver Bonas….
Just make sure you wear these with a lot of attitude.
Animal prints and charms have been a trend for quite a while now, we have seen stag prints, bird motifs, cat brooches, and horse pendants. The latest little micro-trend is the owl pendant or charm. On a recent window-shopping trip I was staggered by how much it featured. I already mentioned the NW3 Owl Belt. Here are the other things I saw….
I decided to use a few of the things I spotted in Claire’s and make my own charm necklace. I took a pair of earings and an elephant pendant necklace and mixed it up with things from my jewelley making tool box. Adding different chain types.
