With the future season in mind……
….we should be considering these transitional items from the current sales.
Checked jacket NW3 £99.
Houndstooth Trousers £50, Whistles.
Theyskens’ Theory jacket £275 at Matches.
Dress from Weekend by MaxMara £107.
Dress A.P.C, around £71.
I am browsing through all the latest new arrivals and Jason Wu is always on my wish list. The Pre-Fall collection is lovely, feminine but certainly not girly. I am using the collection as inspiration for shopping at my local High Street tomorrow.
I have the perfect dress already to emulate this look, I bought it from the NW3 sale this Spring.
Here it is..
It fits so well and creates an hour glass shape even on me! With bare legs and the right shoes I think it will work.
Maybe these from MaxMara £378.
This skirt from Jaeger also has that Wu look.
And of course a lot more affordable at £120 in the sale. I also quite like this dress from Marks and Spencer, £45. Nice print and neckline.
Roll on shopping day!
It’s probably best not to jinx it by assuming that the warm weather is going to last for more than just this week. The last three days being seriously warm and lovely have left me with a desperate need to find two things. One being the everyday sandal for the season, two being a dress (or two, or three) that can keep me cool in the sun and….well…keep me looking cool too!
I love this, it has a nude pallet and a touch of sheen. It is a great shape, loose fitting in a way that shows off curves and flatters them at the same time. For daytime I would need some cute flat sandals to go with it.
Maybe something like this?…
Lovely colour. A great clash with the dress! Or these maybe?
Fab animal print, maybe better for my pale skin tone than the neon yellow ones. Whilst I was in L.K Bennett I also spotted these fab sandals in the sale.
What a bargain!
Of course perfect for this season is the pleated midi skirt, fab for dressing up or down, wear this lovely skirt (below) with the L.K Bennett sandals during the day. I would team it with a tucked in t-shirt for a casual daytime look.
Put on a cute and quirky necklace.
Fab, now the research is done all I have to do is wait for payday!
This morning was another sunny and frosty morning that makes you think about country houses and dog walking. The Hunter wellie and Barbour jacket look has been going on for a couple of years now, but still looks current. And on days when you can see your breath in front of you it is the perfect thing to wear. O’keefe in Esher have the Barbour jacket in two fab colours.
The eccentric English quirky look for me is all part of this. NW3 at Hobbs does this look brilliantly. It’s booky boho vibe can be worn easily by any age. Take a look at their lookbook.
The new collection from NW3 has some brilliant little pieces, I picked out a few of my favourites.
I love this belt as it means you can give that quirky look to something you already have in your wardrobe. Maybe just simply over a white shirt and pencil skirt.
