The sales are just starting and I have had a quick look through for some early bargains.
Shoes are always top of my list! The first pair from Kurt Geiger are £129 reduced from £220, the second are of course Charlotte Olympia’s zodiac pumps. With the sale on they are now within my budget, £299. Both available from Selfridges.
These two dresses turned my head at netaporter.
The stripe dress from By Malene Birger is reduced to £212 the second dress is from Philosophy at £223.
Today’s inspiration? Yesterday’s birthday girls.
Resort collection from The Row.
They do know a thing or two about style those Olsen girls.
As The Row is a little pricey for me I will be copy-catting the over-all look.
Here we go….
If you can’t get to an Agnes B store don’t be put off shopping online by the prices in Euro’s, they do ship to the UK.
Come on people, it may be a rainy Jubilee weekend but that is no reason to forget about style!
Let’s sort that out. I am sure you, like me, have parties to attend with a red white and blue theme. Retailers have gone mad with Jubilee themed items. Some good, some bad.
In my opinion though, you shouldn’t spend money on something you will only want to wear for one day. With white being a major trend for this summer, I am going to take inspiration from the Celine Spring/Summer campaign.
I will wear this look this summer when I am in Como and for this weekend I will just add a few hints of patriotism.
Like a bright blue clutch bag.
And a pair of red sandals.
All great pieces I will wear again and again. What about the rain I hear you cry….
Get out and celebrate British-ness!
I am making a protest and refuse to put my Hunter wellies back on. Lets put on our Spring outfits and just add these boots to wade through the puddles nonchalantly.
Find Rick Owens at Selfridges.
These Sissy boots above are currently in the sale!
The fabulous Spring weather this week has had me pulling last years Prada wedges out of the closet and they still look great but I am all for something new. If like me you like to spend quite a bit on a pair of new shoes then you have to consider what look you will want to wear over the next few weeks.
I love wedges and they look great with so many things, like this lovely D&G shirt dress…….
Dolce & Gabbana have some lovely wedges in this season following the trend for print on to the shoes…
I think wedges look great with boyfriend jeans and skinny rolled up or cropped jeans too. I even wore my Prada wedges with tights a month or so ago.
Anyway I think I have established that I should hold off buying new wedges for now and think of a different shoe shape.
Now these are a completely different animal. I think these shoes would give some print or pastel skinnies a harder edge and definitely would look cool with the sport-luxe style for this season.
I need to get out of here and hit the shops.
