I love a traditional family Sunday and today that is exactly what I am doing. The family are travelling down from Staffordshire and we are going out for lunch in Notting Hill and then home for gossiping and reading papers and drinking tea. On a day like this I want to wear something that looks smart enough for the restaurant and cool enough for Notting Hill and not too dressy for the family.
This fab yellow trench is from Jigsaw and is £225. I think this would be perfect for my day today. I would probably wear it with an Audrey Hepburn inspired cropped black trousers, simple black T or Polo neck jumper and loafers. Perfect.
Whilst I was in Jigsaw I spotted some amazing little sale picks that you could wear through spring and into Autumn.
This is an uninspiring photo but imagine this dress (£265) for Spring with a collar necklace, coloured tights and clashing heels.
Like this collar from Topshop only £16!
And these colour block heels from byLarin 195.00€
For Autumn add a geometric patterned coat and trousers for a Prada-esque feel. Or wear with a patterned blouse under, dark tights and shoe-boots.
The next find was this amazing belt, it is only £11 and it can update a simple shift dress now and we saw wide leather belts on the Autumn/Winter catwalks too.
Have a lovely Sunday!
Yay, the new Spring collection has arrived! You may remember reading a post about the lovely colour block platforms I fell in love with in January. Well now I have summer toes on my mind and I have been waiting for sandals to hit the shops.
And here they are, instead of the click and twist shoe adornments they have changeable straps. ByLarin obviously know how fickle a fashion girl can be!
Today I am day-dreaming about all the lovely things I have seen since the beginning of the year.
To be continued…..
(4 hours later)……here
I have to stop now, this could go on and on.
I am completely in love with byLarin shoes. I am desperate for pay day to come around so I can hot foot it down to the Kings Road to find them. Annoyingly there are only a small number of stockists in the UK. They are handmade in Spain and designed by the Danish designer Lulu Andersen.
All of the shoes have a magnetic button, making it possible to change the shoe ornament. Or have them without. My fave are the platform shoes in Aubergine.
