It’s early autumn and here are a few things that are in my wish list.

Totally fabulous looks, and of course I will be trying to copy this from the high street. It’s early days but it seems to me that Zara will have this all sewn up!
I love a new fashion-ism, and the micro-trend we are seeing at the moment is the ‘maxi-top’.
Here are a few to look at….
This one from Zara has a classic shirt front. £29.99.
This open-work front top from Free People says holiday to me. It also is available in black and amber. £128.
This one is from River Island £26.
I’m struggling to see myself adopting this trend, although I can see it being a great beach cover up option. I often have to eat my words…..watch this space.
When you document what you are wearing everyday you notice how little of your wardrobe you actually wear. I have spotted that I wear jeans a lot. I often go shopping for the trends that I have seen and try them on, they fit ok and hit the brief I then stick them in the wardrobe. I think I will wear them but the truth is I am just a casual style girl who would like to look smarter but its not my natural state.
Well today I am wearing an A-Line midi skirt, its been in my wardrobe since autumn.
It was from Marks and Spencer and is thick wool and has a lining which makes it perfect for cold days like today.
I am wearing it with this Uniqlo jumper, it dresses it back down to casual, the Swarovski necklace just adds a tiny sparkle.
These Paul Smith shoe boots were bought back in 2011! I am wearing Topshop lace trimmed socks.
I am off out to meet with a friend who has just bought a bar/restaurant, I hope my legs won’t be too cold!
My blog posts are always about fashion trends and shopping or styling tips, however I know that most bloggers write about what they are wearing and I thought it might be fun to document what I wear in a month. Today is definitely a dress down day, I started the day with a coffee morning with my lovely school mums. The rest of the day I am working in the office and catching up on a few chores.
I am wearing Uniqlo jeans, super soft and fabulously stretchy. £34.90.
This T-shirt was my cheeky Fenwick spend on Wednesday on my way to a meeting. From Leon and Harper around £69. I love the feather ‘necklace’ detailing. I have added some layering necklaces too, an evil eye necklace also from Fenwick and a gold and crystal long necklace that was a gift from the old man. The infinity scarf was a Benetton buy around 4 years ago.
The blanket style cardigan was from Monsoon last year. They have something similar this season, click here.
I love the A/W offerings from Matthew Williamson, its going to require a massive overhaul of my very monochrome wardrobe to incorporate this look.
I think I am going to start with these trousers from Max Mara at Matchesfashion.
Well thats what I though when I saw this collection from PPQ. Classic Film Noir!
Liberty have some great Valentine gift ideas.
As do Selfridges.
Now all you need to do is leave this page open on your laptop for your other half to see.
All that is turning my head right now is the hippy style of the late 60-‘s early 70’s. I find myself being drawn to cheesecloth appliquéd blouses and tribal accessories. Centre parting my hair and wearing knee high boots has definitely been my way of adopting this style this January.
I love it when there is a new look to get into. I love trying to adapt my current 90’s inspired wardrobe drip by drip to morph into this new era by springtime. It is easier than you think. The A-line mini’s I have been wearing with sheer black tights and patent ankle boots and a cropped sweater, will look great with suede knee-high boots bare legs and a floral floaty blouse.

Far out man!
